Nature
Spain's climatic diversity (Atlantic, Mediterranean, subtropical and mountain) makes for a great variety of wildlife and landscapes. The climate is generally temperate and there are four distinct seasons, with some areas experiencing more pronounced weather changes than others. Land of vast landscapes, world-famous coastline, and wide stretches of mountain ranges, Spain we can find from warm beaches and lagoons with high humidity, to cold and high places such as the Sierra Nevada, with Pico Veleta, and Tabernas, the Almería desert. The northern zone has more vegetation and is greener. The rest, except for the holm oaks and pines, is more orange, brown and yellow.
Spain is known as the "Land of Rabbits" because there are many rabbits and hares besides other characteristic animals such as eagles, goats, wild boars, pigeons, the Iberian lynx, the Iberian wolf and the Iberian pig.
