Language
While Spanish is not the official language in Mexico, over 95% of Mexicans speak it. The accent is different in each region, the same thing happens with the colloquial expressions. Furthermore, the vocabulary is rich in terms that come from native tribes indigenous communities, for example: guajolote, cuate, xóchitl, wey, escuincle, totopo, etc.
It's not the same Spanish...
The way that verbs are conjugated in Mexico is totally different in comparison to Spain:
ustedes hablan (🇲🇽) > vosotros hablais (🇪🇸) > you speak (🇦🇺)
We do seseo 🇲🇽 instead of ceceo 🇪🇸.
In addition, the past perfect is hardly conjugated, Mexicans prefer to conjugate past sentences in preterite, it doesn't matter if the event happened minutes ago.
