The architecture of Argentina can be said to start at the beginning of the Spanish colonisation. Many cities preserved most of their historic Spanish colonial architecture despite their urban growth. The architecture of the second half of the 20th century
continued adapting French neoclassical style. Numerous Argentine architects have enriched their own country's cityscapes.
