York Road Social Cycling Club

Centennial Park

Sydney

Who we are

We are a social cycling club that meet at the York Gates in Centennial park for regular spins and we formed the club in the name of inclusivity and giving it a go.

What does that mean? It means that whilst we have a club jersey, you can wear whatever kit you like. It means if you just bought a bike the other day, we want you on our team. Cycling is for everyone!

It's all about community, coffee and cake. Cycling, also.

Ride Leaders

We don't have a formal committee but here's a few faces you're likely to see on a Yorkies spin! You'll generally see these folk on the front or back of the bunch getting people organised and making calls; they are by no means the strongest riders... rather students of the sport?

Dan

Voted as Yorky of the year! Can be found in the bunch being an absolute gent at all times.

Kenz

Loudest Yorky in the bunch!

Johann

If all goes to pot in the world of finance, he could certainly get by as a bike mechanic.

Felix

Has done a few triathlons and has mentioned it once or twice.

Shaun

Coolest in the bunch so we chuck him on the front for street cred.

Cerys (Kerris)

Mrs Consistent, has spent a lot of time in the bunch, whether it be a LaPa social or Ku-Ring-Gai ripper.
