Architecture

The German architectural landscape is very diverse and interesting. German cities reflect the zeitgeist of different epoques: remains of antique buildings, medieval city centers and castles, renaissance and baroque glamour, traditional timber frames houses and contemporary minimalist buildings.

Nature

Germany has a variety of different landscapes: sea, mountains, flatlands and beautiful river landscapes. There's 4 seasons: spring, summer, autumn and wet and cold winters (a bit of snow, but not very much). Typical European forest animals (deer, wild board birds, foxes, rabbit) live in German forests, but we do not have any large carnivores such as bears. There are wolves in some regions.
