Design Do's & Dont's
Germany wants to be a diverse and modern country in all matters. That means, to generally avoid just showcasing caucasian white people in photography and create a good balance of different identities. Try to find a mix between German tradition and images of an open-minded world: we're not just dirndl and beer. Avoid using any symbols or fonts that remind of World War II - crosses, red and black design, fractured fonts etc.
Do's
Use sans serif typography
Use bold & fun illustrations
Use joyful images
Dont's
Use Word War II colours
Use old German fonts
Use clichéd imagery
